G and I were so excited to attend the San Diego Symphony Opening Night 2017. Jean Yves Thibaudet performed with the Symphony. You may know his music from Pride and Prejudice featuring Keira Knightley. He is an incredible pianist and so fun to watch live. I’ve loved his music for years and regularly listen to it so getting to see him perform was so thrilling. The symphony performed beautifully and the symphony players were dressed incredibly in their opening night frocks. It was a night of fashion, incredible music and fun!
Following the performance G and I attended the after party at the University Club on the top floor of Symphony Towers which is the highest building in the city. Room upon room of live musicians, appetizers, mains and desserts were set out including the cutest hot chocolate and coffee bar and charcuterie boards. The dessert room was divine and young musicians played in several rooms. G and I danced and noshed the night away and had such an incredible time at the Symphony from beginning to end. It was the perfect night out and such a fun last date before our little one arrives!
Happy Friyay y’all!
